What I See I Am
HE RESTORETH MY SOUL
"HE" God.
"RESTORETH" This word does not mean repair, this means to make like original. If something isn't like original it isn't restored.
"MY" this phrase does not discuss someone else, or a group, where there is a possibility for me to be left out or shorted or a possibility " in my judgment" that I did not receive the same as everyone else. This is "my", singular, specific, to the point without confusion. The subject of God's restoration is the person reciting the Psalm. Not worrying about any one else. God takes care of them also, Therefore, I don’t have to be concerned.
"SOUL" This is the very base of who we are as individuals. No one but God and us (you, the individual) has communication with your soul.
Free Choice gives us the power to work with our soul. If for some reason it is tarnished God restores it. We don't even have to ask. It is something God does out of "Absolute Love" for each of us.
The young man who killed his parents and schoolmates. God will restore his soul. The young man will have to pay Society for his actions, but his soul is restored by God.
With every privilege comes a responsibility, knowledge is a privilege. In this day of mass communication and sharing of knowledge, we don't realize what a privilege knowledge is. Just in the last two centuries has knowledge been disseminated to the masses with such great magnitude. Previous to the 1800's knowledge was kept by the "elite". This was done because those in "power" didn't think the masses could handle knowledge or the responsibility.
Example: Knowledge of how to use a gun, or drive a car, or get on the Internet brings with it the responsibility of handling each understanding (knowledge) safely and beneficially.
Knowledge of how God interacts with us, God's and our relationship brings a greater responsibility to use the knowledge in a beneficial manner. To just gain knowledge without taking the action of the benefit of the knowledge is harder on us than not having the knowledge at all. The world is full of educated derelicts.
God is ever expanding. We should not fear expanding with God, because God has promised to restore our soul if anything happens to it.
The Twenty Third Psalm
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He
leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup
runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell
in the House of the Lord forever.
